Getting Started
We begin with a consultation and assessment to determine if you are a suitable candidate for orthodontics. Generally, this means you must be dentally fit, with no gum disease, no cavities and no underlying issues.
Our Options
We’ll take X-rays and photos of your teeth, and then do a digital scan of your teeth to generate a computer mock-up of what your smile will look like at the end of the process. When you’re happy with the mock-up, we’ll have the lab make the aligners, then we’ll bring you back in to fit them and go over your instructions.
Braces: For children, as well as for adults with more complex bite issues, traditional braces are usually a better choice. We offer Quick Straight Teeth™, which uses tooth-coloured ceramic brackets rather than the metal brackets of traditional braces. They are bonded to your teeth and use wires to create the movement.
The consultation process is the same as for both options, but there is no computerised mock-up for Quick Straight Teeth™. Treatment time depends on the nature of your alignment issues, but may be completed in 3-18 months.
